Claude Code CLI v2.1.91 was released on April 2, 2026, introducing MCP tool result persistence override via _meta["anthropic/maxResultSizeChars"] annotation (up to 500K), a new disableSkillShellExecution setting, multi-line prompt support in deep links, and plugin bin/ directory executables.
