Node.js v24.14.1 LTS (Krypton) — New Active LTS Line Available

Node.js v24 (codename Krypton) entered LTS status with v24.14.1 released March 24, 2026 alongside the security patch release for all active lines. Node.js 24.x includes V8 engine updates, improved native fetch, and enhanced permission model. ODS currently uses Node.js 22.x LTS (Jod) which remains supported, but v24 is now the newest LTS line.

ODS Impact
ODS Dashboard uses Node.js 22.x LTS. Node.js 24 LTS becoming available means planning for eventual migration. Node.js 22.x LTS (Jod) continues to receive security patches through the LTS lifecycle. No immediate action required, but ODS should plan a migration window for Node.js 24 adoption when P2/P3 services are built.
