Playwright 1.59.1 released April 1 2026, patching a Windows-specific regression introduced in 1.59.0 that broke console window hiding behavior, disrupting codegen, --ui, and show commands. ODS was on 1.59.0. This is a minor patch release; the substantive 1.59.0 features (e.g. improved network interception, trace viewer enhancements) remain. Update recommended for any Windows-based dev environments in ODS. Linux CI environments are unaffected by the regression.

ODS Impact
Playwright is used for E2E testing of ODS web frontends (DocSign, OSIGN SaaS, ods-dashboard). The regression only affects Windows. ODS CI/CD runs on Linux (srv-agents GCP). No urgency for Linux-only pipelines, but update anyway to stay current.
